Default 991.2 Lower Oil Crank Feed Line O Ring Leak

Just had the upper oil crank feed line fixed at the Porsche dealer under CPO $3k job..… not sure how they missed this lower issue while performing the PPI but did refund me….. My mechanic was in the process of changing out the plugs and lo and behold the lower oil cooler line was leaking. Check yours! Is this an issue? The flange has a groove in it where the o ring seats which is odd? Anyone know why? My car has 15,200 miles.

Had the same failure. The tech was doing an inspection to qualify my GT3 for an extended warranty from Porsche. Because the car was still under the CPO warranty it had when I purchased it, the fix was free. Otherwise they quoted me approx $3,500 to repair. My car just went past 20,000 miles.

Had the same failure, oil dripped onto belt and splashed the oil all over fan deck and bottom diffuser panel. This oil line is only specific for the .2 right? I checked the .1 cars in the shop and they don’t have it. There is a O-ring on each side, mechanic changed one of them as there was a short on part, he got the correct one and solved the problem.
