Looks like they've dropped the markup by $10K from what had been reported earlier.

A bit too beige-colored for my taste.

So the popular wisdom here is to NEVER pay a dealer markup for a GT3 (or any car for that matter).

But it's ok to give those same dealers free advertising?

Have to agree. Among the special GT3's, the green was stunning, the Arena Red very nice, but this Fashion Grey just doesn't do it for me...T

For me the gray color is just OK - to each his own, color is a very individual decision. Most of this PTS hype is all about our human nature to want to be different. Sometimes, maybe a lot of the time, different isn't always better.

I saw a white GT3 wrapped in fashion gray and it looked like it was painted that way. Moral of the story is forget the heavy premium from PAG and then the markup from the dealer and wrap the car any color you want. For the premium expense involved you can wrap the car in a variety of colors 10 times - just to be different. And then you save the expense of clear wrap protection on top of it...

PTS isn't automatically worth the expense (certainly not a $30K mark up under any circumstance) and a color isn't necessarily wonderful just because it's unique. FG is an ok color but not for a GT3, IMHO.
