I have no doubt the TTS is faster on track with Pilot Sport Cup 2s, even a technical track. PDCC really allows for the car to remain stable but it also takes away a lot of feel that you have for the road. The 4 wheel drive is amazing really feel it pull when you lay the hammer down on uphill turns, but again takes away from the feel of the car. On the straights the Turbo has very little lag and really is a leap forward just no comparison for straight away speed. Steering feel is for $#!+ compared to the GT3 as is the pedal feel and no way I would take one over an RS

Absolutely! A bunch of us got to drive them back to back in Atlanta. There was really no comparison in driving feel.

Different uses, as a daily driver, no interest in a GT3.

Track purpose - GT3RS would be my choice

If you want to do little bit of both, then use the GT3

Weird. In auto mode it's like driving a Honda Civic...

I had 997.2 TT. I believed it to be the best for track. I loved this car.

Then I tried 991 GT3.

Next thing i did was buying GT3 and selling TT.

I never missed TT. GT3 is just another universe. It's the best car i know. It makes me smile. It has a soul.

Also my lap times are much better with GT3. It's much easier and much more safe to drive GT3 on track than TT. It's smooth and predictable.

If performance was the only criteria in buying a car none of us would be buying Porsche's.

Agree...991 GT3 very road compliant compared to my previous 996.3.

Agreed. Each of these are, most likely, faster. Well, in a straight line anyways.

All the same, I certainly would love to have a 991 Turbo S in my garage too.

Dan (ultimately doesn't care either)
