Watching chris video, car sounds amazing. But having a scuderia, I am not sure I want to trade it for a 488. I am not sure what I am getting that I need. I mean, I have everything I want in my scud. I am waiting for another ferrari that I want to buy again.

A speciale maybe, but honestly, I would probably get a Stradale to add in my stable. Backwards you may say, but the Stradale has earned a spot in my garage, or future garage. Next maybe a 458 or speciale.

A while ago. Look for his F12 at Angelsey video. It is quite epic.

Don't get me wrong, but I think in SOME aspects, he just doesn't want to disappoint Ferrari.. And i think it sounds just like the california T..
I'd take a a 458/speciale over this anyday.

I have mixed feelings. I feel like the Speciale is still the better car and is the most epic car I have ever driven. For some reason I was really disappointed with the sound, it just did not sound like the Speciale.. What I did love is how short the gear ratio is and just the speed of the machine.

Chris harris is one of the few who is absolutely raving about the new car. Many of the other journalists have mixed opinions.

YES! Do this now... going no where but up. One of my favorite looking Ferraris EVER.. so irresistibly sexy. I could do without the crappy F1 transmission tech of the CS era.. but, it would never stop me from buying one.

Nothing terribly exciting about this new car. Now if Ferrari had created a baby LaFerrari for 300k, I'd be interested.

I must be a minority. I think this thing is absolutely WICKED! This is exactly what Ferrari needed to be competitive IMO. My only two gripes are that it STILL doesn't have a carbon tub and the doors are still boring..

I will give them credit for the weight loss and for doing their best to make the turbo feel naturally aspirated.

"And the new car is claimed to be some 43kg lighter than the Italia, its kerbweight coming in at 1445kg."

"So, everything improves, but note that the peak power is delivered 1000rpm lower than the Italia, and that the massive wodge of torque is on tap way down low. There is, however, a caveat here: Ferrari has cleverly engineered the engine to unleash the full 561lb ft at 3000rpm only in seventh gear, parcelling the torque out in lower gears to encourage drivers to chase the redline and, therefore, approximate the rush of good ol’ natural aspiration."

I sold my 458. If I was to buy a Ferrari now it would be another 458 or a Speciale, not a 488. However, I am not bored of my McLaren yet.

I drove the CaliT and was very disappointed by the exhaust and turbo.

Hey,like the guy said : " if you have the dough might as well... "
If I had the dough I'd take a used Speciale over this, even if the decision needed to be made in a fraction of a second after being woken up at 2 am in the morning with the sound of a chainsaw.

I love my 458...only the second day...so much more fun on the street than the 991 GT3. I am no longer interested in the RS either...I can't have both, so the Ferrari wins !
