^ The temporary speed limits introduced recently are for top levels of racing, no?

From what I've read, by people that actually race on the ring, it is their understanding that every car that drives on there will be subject to the speed limit.

I drove a Viper a couple of weeks ago.
Really wanted to like it, but it was much worse than I thought.

Just fit finish harshness couldn't fit in it right felt gigantic.

If you have a link, I'd like to read more about it. My understanding is they were imposed in order to allow running of the six hour race that they would otherwise have been forced to cancel due to the recent race spectator death. And that the limits were 125-155mph in certain turns, so not likely to be necessary for the general public using the 'ring.

I owned a Viper GTS for a short time. The only sports car I have owned that I didn't like. Rude and crude. YMMV

Alan you may be correct. I'm just going by what Mr. Glickenhaus has said.

coffin on wheels.
Love em and hate em.
My 2005 SRT10 build quality is that of a 1969 corvette.

They are hard to squeeze in and out of, the floor gets super warm, the nose is long and yet they make you smile when you drive them. The sound and torque are the most fun thing about the car.

It is not something you would use everyday or every sunday.
it is an itch you only desire to scratch every once and awhile. You can only take so much of it at a time in short stints.

Would love to experience this new ACR but i know i wouldnt want to live with it or track it.

Vipers are like call girls.

One night, it's fine.

A date? No.

Relationship? No way.

Marriage? NFW.

Someday when they learn how to make a much better interior, maybe I would buy one.
