The building is almost done in la. Track looks like land is graded but no asphalt laid. It was supposed to be done By now ...now they say 2016. Space looks small for a real track. Seems more for demos.

Heard they ran into environmental problems at the Carson site (soil contamination issues - not surprising given the location) and have to put a 4 foot deep cap over the entire site before continuing construction of the track. Hence the delay.

I think Atlanta opened today.

Spyrex youre right, they are more for demos for sure.

Well this wouldn't surprise me, the entire area was a landfill many years ago, the parcel next to it they have talked for years about building a shopping mall there...
That is a massive amount of dirt to move in. Wow.

This is a rough approx of the old dump.

Has been like that for about a year, no? Definitely seems like they have run into problems...

It's why that spot was chosen.

Porsche isn't going to build a facility in prime real estate, esp. when they don't have eminent domain power (either directly or indirectly).
