Default PDK RPM Up Shift Points

Does anyone know for GT3 or other models what the PDK upshift points are in RPM for different gears in non-sport or sport?

Varies based on how you're applying the throttle and, I suspect, other variables the car is considering.

Easy driving/cruising, standard mode upshifts at @2K rpm, sport mode at @3K. At WOT, shifts at @ 9K, regardless of mode you have the button set to. In between throttles, your guess is as good as mine.

Interesting, so if you go full pedal depress, it will shift at 9k? seems to shift at different points for me.

Yup. You have to find a safe place to keep the pedal to the metal. For me it’s the track, in sport mode. Rarely on the street, in standard mode, and I quit relatively early then.

Pedal to the floor equals 9k regardless of sport mode.

Allways 9k? At leat in the .1 GT3 its like 9k in 1st and 2nd gear and goes down gear by gear to maybe 8.700 in the 6th. Power degrades above 8.400 rpm so it doesnt make sense to rev it out in the last gears powerbandwise.

That may be true. even on the .2 GT3. If the car up shifts at 8,700rpm from 6th to 7th and I'm still WOT, my eyes are probably glued to the road with my head upright because I have two round things at my throat and can't look down at the tach!

YES!! If you are WOT, it will shift every gear at REDLINE.
If you are easy on the gas it will **** under 2500rpms.

Same if you are in a high gear and floor it, it will downshift to the lowest gear it can and go to redline.

Look at the video. Its not shifting at the redline. Shiftpoints are near 8.950 in 3th, 8.900 in 4th, 8.750 in 5th if I see correctly. From 6th to 7th he is manually short shifting.

I’m assuming if you’re on a track and have a pretty long straight, you’d want to shift at a minimum of 8400RPM-9000RPM to get the fastest acceleration on a straight, correct? I recently was at a track event and my friend was shifting well before that (using paddles) and I recommended on the next lap to wait until 8400-9000RPM to shift. It sure felt like we picked up significant more speed by the end of the straight. Isn’t that the way to do it? I felt like the car wasn’t getting into the full power band if shifted before that. I think he was shifting around 6000-7000RPM. Thanks.

Yes, power degrades after 8,400 rpm, but you have to balance that against where the revs will be in the next higher gear if you short-shift early. Most of the time, it's still an advantage to wait until 9k (or very close)...
