My 15 GT3
Hi every one. I have participated little in the forum but it has been extremely valuable to enjoy the ownership of my gt3 and my first 911 in almost 10 years.
Here are some photos of my car. Took delivery on March 14, and I'm raking up the miles for that magical 2000 miles.
The process to get my car was a bit of a split second decision in February.
I had placed a deposit for an M3 as I was intending to use it as my daily driver, and my track cars where now my 04 Challenge Stradale and my 04 M3.
So far that was the plan until my first track day of the year in COTA where I got to ride in a friends GT3. Naturally light years away from my Challenge stradale. Don't get me wrong the Ferrari is an awesome car but you can start to feel the age on it. I do how ever get a big smile with the engine noise.
Any way long story short got into my mind the idea of getting a pre-owned 991 gt3 to make it my track car till a friend tipped me off that some one had cancelled their order for their Gt3 at the Tucson dealership, called them up, and five minutes latter the car was mine. The car was in transit to the dealer from the port but needed a buyer fast so I pulled the trigger. White would never had been my first color neither my wife but she suggested we get the Martini Striping kit and we fell in love the moment we saw it in person with the stripe kit.
Two weeks into ownership I can only say pleased with the car is an understatement, we love it. And next Sunday if miles rack up will be its first track day at COTA.
Will appreciate to meet any one at the event on this Sunday if any of the fellow Gt3 owners are going.
