2016 Club Coupe

I also rec'd the email. If I get picked I'll buy it. there will Always be a market for one of the lowest production runs P has had. Can't say I'm in love with the car, I do like the color, but as someone else stated there are plenty of hardcore PCA members with means that will want to add to their collections. It needs a small wing like the GT4 to balance the visual appearance IMO.
There were 1580 Carrera RSs made and look how they've performed vs all the artificially collectable Anniversary Editions.

Just remember, most things that are designed to be collectors editions end up not being. I would be on an RS even with 2000+ cars being produced vs this anyday of the week.

I believe the Club Coupes, both the 2013 and the new 60th are the only way to get a wide, c4, body on a rear wheel drive 911. Outside of the GT3 of course, and as a 7 speed manual it would be the only way to get a wide body rear wheel drive manual 911. I'd say that's pretty special....

It's the same as the regular GTS. GTS and GT3 are both based on the C4 wide body chassis.

Correct. 50th Anniversary owners were also not too thrilled by this. Not to mention that the Club Coupe also has the Fuchs-style wheels. It's a very pretty, unique blue, but that's the only part that is special imo. Oh, but you do get the special stickers on the doors.

Even the Fuchs style wheels can be sourced through Tequipment if you want to add them to any wide body 991. Agree w/ all the points made above. If you really like one of these special editions fine, but to acquire one for "collectability" is not supported by the track record of these variants over time.

From the pricing there doesn't seemed to be as much a bang for the buck as the 50th club coupe was. You're even paying for the PTS for the paint. Some of the comfort options are just that options and not included. So price can get a bit crazy. Makes the GT3 a real bang for the buck.

I think it looks very good in the flesh. Color is deep and attractive. One can argue about the car itself, certainly not a GT3, but a great deal for the content.
This pic I snapped in Daytona. It was overcast and raining but still one could make out the depth of the color.

If you want the Fuchs look (even in center lock) - check out www.fuchsperformance.com, they even had the GT3 wheels in 5 lug before the GT4 launch. I prefer them over the 50th wheels, having seen both in person.
