Mech 33 also has a solution that I am sure works. Like I said it doesn't take much.. Stay tuned. No way to do a high speed run at rush hour.

Very creative! What was the max speed you got up to? This seems easy enough ...

I tried the single wind deflector up to 160mph this weekend and it cuts the noise some but not as good as having both widows with deflectors on them. I would love to make just one but it won't get the job done at least with what I have tested so far.

Great DIY. I ordered these. A little more $$ than your version though!

Backordered until May though!

Fabspeed has a set on their website that is black metal and sticks on over the current plate.

Debating on a set, the lip looks really big compared the awe and ed's

I was looking for an option that blended in and looked OEM. I think I may paint them flat black depending how the carbon looks. Or maybe do a gloss clear on the matte.

I've done a few similar to Ed's. Some with bigger lips and no curl at the top. I think Ed's look a bit nicer, but I think they will work. I've got them stuck on with two sided tape now, but I'll add some racers tape for peace of mind.

If you are at thunderhill this weekend and would like to help test, find me. I'm bringing about four different versions.

Question Ed: in my 991S I simply put up the passenger window an inch or so and it handled the issue.
I track my GT3 for the first time this Friday...
Is the car that different than the 991S in this regards?
Sorry if I've missed this part of the post...

Putting your window up works for the buffeting but you will likely get black flagged.

I've ran there for years and have never been flagged for that...are you out there Friday with PCA? If so, I'll look for you...

Good catch! That one looks the best overall, but yeah, the lip is pretty big on that one... if it was just a little smaller!

Someone else said they had been black flagged for it (not at thill though). If it's allowed it's a heck of a lot simpler. If you have been doing it, I'd guess you're fine. Hope I don't jinx you.

I'm there Sat/sun. You should have a blast on the five mile course.

Most of the tracks here in the Midwest would black flag you for having a window partially up. If I raise my driver's windows a couple of inches it greatly reduces the noise. I've only tried this up to 80 mph. Won't make it to the track until mid April.
