The modegrau / Fashion grey thread

Our customer recently brought his Fashion Grey 911R to get CarPro's newest ceramic coating, Cquartz Finest Reserve! We got a few glamour shots of it before it left our facility. Enjoy!

Saw a Panamama Chaulk @ the dealer and it looked absolutely amazing. Have to see this color is person. If my PTS does not materialize, chaulk it will be.

Chalk looked very similar to Fashion Grey, but slightly more yellow/brown — a little closer to the colour of concrete if that makes sense. Based on that car on that day I prefer Fashion Grey (it's "prettier"), but the differences are subtle and I imagine for most sane people Chalk is close enough
I enquired about Chalk when I was building my car… had it been available in '17 models I probably would have never gone down the PTS path, but glad I did.

I just ordered my new Panamera. I'm a huge fan of fashion gray, and hoped that chalk would be similar. I've now looked in person at a couple of different chalk cars. The colors look similar in photos but NOT in person. In person, chalk doesn't even look gray to my eyes. It's much more of a beige color, with even a hint of khaki or light green. Not what I wanted.
I ordered my car in Carrara (metallic) white.

Thanks for those impressions! I agree that the "greys" are the amongst the hardest to photograph and give a very different impression in real life. Hope to see and compare to Chalk soon.

I dismissed chalk early in the piece after seeing some panamera pictures.. then was drawn back after a few gt3 examples surfaced and this particular thread noting how close it could be to fashion grey.
Question.. for those who have seen or just have a opinion, how would the red accents go with chalk.. rim edge, interior.. red and beige does't seem to make sense.. where as red and grey does..?.
Or better to play it safe. Yellow accb and silver interior accents..?

I really wanted to like Chalk. Liked the color panel at the dealer better than I expected. Looked close to Fashion Grey, was thinking it would be good.
A few weeks later I saw a new Panamera in Chalk outside in the sun. Did not like it at all--looked like an old person color for some reason. The Panamera isn't a GT3 of course, and has silver bits instead of black trim. I'd still like to see it in the flesh on a GT3 but I was shocked at how much I disliked it on the Panamera.
