Default UK used 991 GT3 prices - Is this real?

There are 6 for sale adverts on Pistonheads for used 991 GT3. Im told the two lower priced ones do not have stock. The two higher priced ones are both 180K GBP! There are two with POA.

Is this for real? I was told by another Pistonheads guy that he has been offered 150K+ GBP in his hand for his by a dealer. This is a car that cost him approximately 109K GBP brand new almost a year and 6000 miles ago!

The UK market is definitely over cooked. Can someone from UK confirm 991 GT3 are now trading at 50% over list and selling 170K +? Im finding it really hard to believe....

When you consider a 991 GT3RS is 132K GBP base....imagine what those will be passing along for in 6 months time...

Yeah, but no 9000 rpm redline.

Kidding folks, just kidding.

Even though I am not based in the UK, my contacts such as Phil Raby with GT Porsche magazine confirm that used 991 GT3 are going for a premium in the UK. One factor being the limited # allocated to the UK. I am not sure if they are 50% over list though.

Sure looks like it, except 2008 fireworks are setting up to be much bigger and more fun this time around.

I'm not in the UK and I'm not interested in selling my car but this makes me feel good anyway.

Just wait another 12 to 18 months here. You will be able to get what you paid for your GT3 if it is low mileage and decently equipped.

Is there such a thing as a "RHD conversion"?

I, mean, for those cars that are LHD.

In other thread, we are talking about 991 GT3 value already peaking.

I believe that in the long run, RS will be much more desirable, not only like how they are in the previous generations, but also because of the engine problems in GT3 and the all new engine in the RS.
