Why so many White GT3's???
For me, White 997.1 Turbo, White 997.2 GT3 --- wanted Mexico Blue, but settled with ordering white 991 GT3.
I have seen so many people on this board make the comments as well.
Living in Houston, I hadnt seen a single GT3 until mine arrived this past Thursday evening.
On saturday, spotted a 991 GT3 - White.
Monday, spotted a different 991 GT3 - White.
WTF?
Im guessing its because Porsche's marketing material showed a white GT3?
Let the modding begin to make mine unique!!

I think that white really FITS the shape of the car....and you can add racing stripes, etc really easily

IMHO white is an easy color to accent and cup cars are white. It's the de facto "race car" color.
My wife and I attended a couple of cars and coffee and a concourse, at each event the white cars, Carreras and GTs all blended together. After much pondering, soul searching, and driving all over the state to see colors in person we bought our 991 GT3 in yellow. It stands out in a crowd.

I think white brings out and contrasts nicely with the front lip spoiler and the side skirts, the best.
Really highlights the character of the car.

I have always wanted a White GT3 since my younger days because to me it was always the signature color for this variant. Plus, I really think it accentuates the true lines of this car

I was able to get my GT3 when someone canceled it. Whoever you are... thank you! He ordered it White with black wheels. I think they all look amazing but if I would have ordered it from scratch..., it would be white and I would have optioned it exactly as the poor soul who sacrificed his order for me. That being said.., Racing yellow looks very nice!

I personally think each color is awesome. The white looks really good with the natural accent colors of the car. I also love the race yellow, but didn't order it because I have a race yellow Viper. As stupid luck would have it, the day I picked up my white, someone was bringing their yellow in for service, and I regret not getting the yellow. My next (either 911 or GT4) will be race yellow. But, I still think the white is pretty awesome too.

Easy answer that no one else has/will mention...
All the available colors are standard and unimaginative. Thus "Racing White" is the defacto choice. This is what I did when I ordered my GT3 even though I am not in love with white.
Give us Voodoo/Riviera/Mexico Blue, Orange, Green, etc. and I think we would see a very different color distribution.
