No, with 75hp more, 1,200 rpm more and much better gearing I don't think you can blame it on less torque (significantly more average torque at the wheels over a lap with the GT3).

I first made the mistake of joining you GT3 owners on the first social GT3 run, and then I watched this video. I seem to be spending most of my time here on the 991 GT3 forums as well looking at all your insane cars. Must stop cause as it is, I'm contemplating crazy ideas to get me one myself.
Congrats to all you owners. It's a special car that makes all of the debate about pdk. vs manual, rear wheel steering, etc meaningless once you drive one.......or even just try and keep up with one.
I agree about motor trend. I really enjoy their videos. I must have watch Larry Pobst's video driving the 997.2 rs around laguna 10 times.

wonder what a 981 Cs runs at willow compared to 400 Hp c2s? That may explain things better.

Just a quick comment, the GT3 ran on the longer (2.5 mile) big willow track, versus the above link you posted is for the shorter street of willow (1.6 mile) track. Below is the link for lap times for the big willow track. Mark
