Default More LWB pics on Sapphire Blue

The car really is a major step forward. Engine is very special in its own different way from Metzler. Chassis is not comparable-its on a different level. Transmission is a complex little bugger. It makes you give it gas as the clutch lets out, mimicking a manual. It really adds character. Full throttle upshifts really remind me of a Cup. Drove 70 miles of really trying seat rings by 2k-8k runs and engine is really strong. The buckets are the absolute most comfortable seats ever. The way they go up and down makes it very easy to get in a great seating position. And with them all the way forward you can easily get bags behind the seat. I only drove in manual/Sport plus the whole time. Car was docile around town also. I'll need some more time to see if I "bond" to the car like my 997.2 GT3, but this car really is something special. It almost seems 2 generations from the 997.

Really good to hear about the comfort and feel of the LWBs. Has anyone been able to remove the pad just below the headrest?

Nice pics, your car looks great.

Do you think you could daily drive with the LWBs?

Absolutely you could drive with them. I daily drove 28k on my 997 GT3 and these feel even better. I drove 70 miles today and they were the best seats ever.

What is everyone's fascination with removing the little pad on the seat? it is not bothering me, it looks fine, just leave it alone.

Great job. Buckets look absolutely fantastic. More excited to get mine after seeing these. I went platinum stitch as well. Painted trim looks perfect. Blue is one of the few, if only colors, the trim looks right, imo. No wart, no lift, no red stitch, no ceramics, right on!

Car looks great! I agree on the LWBs being the most comfortable seats ever. I was in them for 4.5 hours yesterday with no issue, making a dash upstate to some farms.

Great to hear about the seats. Have to state: we've all seen Hans' name butchered (no pun intended) but the aforementioned is a new one.

Sweet. Mine is similar and just landed in San Diego. Hopefully the dock workers don't start their holiday early!

LWB's: Is there a pass thru in both or only on the drivers side?

Porsche just updated the configurator -- I like it. The pad is missing from the LWB's pictured and don't like 'em, as it conceals the CF and offers no function (certainly doesn't add to the appearance).
