With the Velcro surround loosened, the seat cushion is still hooked down, and I can't tell how to get it off all of the way. You can feel the flat sensor beneath the cushion, but it doesn't seem to extend beyond the seam that you can see in the cushion pictures.

The pass through hole in the driver's shell is just a simple cutout. There is no hole in the bottom of the passenger shell.

Can anyone find out what the official reason is for no pass through on the passenger side?

^^^^This is depressing. I wonder how to get around the air bag seat sensor ? Cutting a hole is no big deal. Perhaps a custom car upolstery shop can work with the seat cushion. On another note, I wonder if the RS will have LWB's standard or as an option ? If the latter I would order sofa's and buy aftermarket buckets that do work with harnesses.

I think that there is room in front of the sensor to pass your belt through

Can you label these photos? What are we looking at in picture 1 and picture 2 other than some part of the shell- is the top one the shell with the connector on the passenger side? Is the second the cushion of the passenger side?`

The top picture that looks smooth is from the passenger seat. The yellow plug is visible from the footwell. The area of carbon fiber corresponds to where the pass through is on the driver's seat. The lower picture with the hole is taken from below the driver's seat. The hole appears to have been cut through a single layer of material, and has unfinished edges. The bottom of the cushion, and its pass through is seen through the seat pan hole.

My car w/ LWB is at GMG getting cage, harnesses, tint & clear bra completed before I take delivery. Jerry @GMG is looking into solutions but it sounds like I'll be doing a 6pt on the driver side and a 4pt on the passenger. Seats should be coming out in the next few days for the install.

Most clubs won't allow a 4-pt harness, and it's generally not recommended from a safety standpoint:

Really sucks that Porsche screwed this up ...

^Agreed. If you don't modify the seat for the 6 pt belts then most organizations will mandate that driver and passenger wear the same belts- the standard 3 pt belts.

Really hoping that someone tries to make the 6 pt work on the passenger side- I'm still waiting for my car...

Could be, but then why do we have the hole on driver's side? And why did both seats have the hole with the previous gen of seats?
