Visible Seam In Body Work?

Visible Seam In Body Work?
I just took delivery of my white GT3 and am absolutely loving it, except for one cosmetic point. The seam in the body work that is just forward of the rear wheels (which would almost trace the presence of a stone guard, if it had one) looks much more visible to me than I would have expected. When viewed in certain light, it almost looks like a scratch--but it isn't. I didn't see it under show room lights, but noticed it in my garage when I got home. Anyone else have this issue? Is it normal?

Agreed. There should be no seam weld there the rear guard is a complete panel and there should be a stone guard which is almost invisible as the car is new and it hasn't discoloured yet...

Yeah, just went out again to look and it is the stone guard. I'm speculating that the leading edge became visible in this way due to maybe some dust aligning itself on the edge combined with shadows in my garage. Hmmm.....normal?

The films today are better than they have ever been. The full car wraps are like the old days when granny would put the sofa pillows in plastic.

Three Wheelin'
My detailer is taking those "smallish " OEM stone guards off as he extends XPEL protection on the rocker panels and around rear fender. That way you won't have that optical annoyance you are experiencing.:-)
