Any more cars w/LBS arrived?
Anyone received a car with Lightweight Bucket Seats yet?
Is there a pass thru on the passenger side?
Your impressions of the seat?
Thanks

I have them in my 918. I think they are fine. For what is essentially a racing seat they are reasonably comfortable. But if there had been another option I'd probably have taken it.
I did not order them in the GT3 and probably won't order them on the RS.
I personally don't like the fact that they are not very adjustable and there is zero lumbar support.
There may be a way to adjust the seat a little more by inserting some spacers where the seat mounts to the floor, at one end or the other. But even if that works, you still won't be able to recline the seat more without also raising the front of the seat, which really limits the overall adjustability.
You can also add lumbar cushions that can be purchased from racing supply places. Or just roll up a towel and stick it behind your lower back. That said, it would sure be nice to have a button and inflatable bladder like in other Porsche seats.
One last thing to consider is resale. I think the standard seats will be better for resale.
Just my $0.02.

I just picked up my GT3 today. Has Lightweight Bucket Seats. In a short amount of driving I think they are the best seats I have had. They also look great! I had Sport Buckets in my Boxster Spyder and these are less confining and easier to get in and out of. I would highly recommend them.

For what it's worth, I may be an anomaly on the seats. Most guys that get them really like them.
I will say this, if you are going to track the car much, the LWBs will probably serve you better than the standard seat. I probably won't track my 991 GT3 much, if at all, because I have the 997 Cup for racing.
I think the LWBs look better too.
