I'm pretty sure that we couldn't get the heated seat option with the sports buckets in the US, correct?
I'm the same size. and I've never sat in a more comfortable seat.

All I got to say is, why are you folks quoting the picture all over this thread? I posted once and now, donut man is all over the place!

No such thing as a US 991 GT2 sport bucket. But the GT2 sport bucket in either it's 997 or ROW form does not have lumbar adjustment.

Mike, I was just adding fire to the comedy of errors that these bucket threads tend to become. Sorry if you took me seriously.

i used to think i was crystal clear on this whole euro vs yankee seat issue... we have joked and made so many mistakes on purpose and not... that there is very little that I know for sure at this point.

gt3 = good.
gt3 with buckets = mo' betta'.

that's all I know.

Irish Guitar Hope this answers your question.
I appreciate the answer, Clocked. However, I'm specifically wondering if the whole seat tilts forward on the front rail for rear access as opposed to folding at the midway point. Sorry, I should have been more specific with my original question.

As it's been noted that the driver's seat raises, that would probably make it less likely that it tilts, I would imagine.

Of course, until anyone actually lays eyes on the seats, it's all speculative anyway.

Vivian.

Why would it tilt? It was designed for 918 - I'm not sure there was any room for tilt?

Fair point, Macca. I'm just curious. I'm ordering the buckets regardless. JSlightly envious that you got yours heated - that would be a big, big plus for my aching back.

Sorry mate. Your question was a good one. What I meant to say was that if they are the same seats used in the 918 then it's unlikely they were designed to tilt far as I'm not sure there is much room on that car to do so and tilting forward for ease of access would also seem unlikely as again no need in 918. The good news is I would imagine heated is available in 918 given the spec and price tag - have you tried selecting both options on the configuratior? Just a thought....
