White Looks Best With Standard Wheels, No Black Wheels, No Silver Wheels...

On these hard choices, I usually go with my gut feelings, for two reasons. First, my gut feelings are usually right, at least for me. Second , if I go against my gut feelings and I'm wrong, then I get REALLY pissed at myself.

I hear ya on gut. The most important is the exterior color for happiness. For me, gut is agate....white and silver still keep me up at night knowing I have a another week to make changes.

Major props to you if you go only "one round" and stick with the first pick as your final and never doubt yourself through the order process - ever.

No, I do have doubts along the way about things like color but I usually return to where I started on such issues. Gut might sometimes shift once, but usually not more than that on such issues. On more logical type issues involved in the build, I've found this forum to be invaluable, not because I always agree with the consensus, but because it helps me to crystalize in my mind what all of the relevant factors are.

Before I found an allocation, my gut was to go dark blue with black wheels. Once I got an allocation, I specced metallic white with standard wheels. I have contemplated agate but have since gone back to my original color scheme. I think I'd regret it if I didn't go with my initial spec.

We got a cancelled order so had no choice. I think i would have chosen standard finish, but the black has grown on me.
Worth noting that early reports indicate the standard finish can chip after less than 1,000 miles!
