You might want to talk to RL member 'reidry'. He has also been looking at deviating colour options for the wing tips and mirror bases and may have this approved already. See this thread for example: https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3/...l#post11563720 He is also aware of an option for the red marker stripe on the steering wheel which might look really sharp on your car. But be prepared to pay handsomely for these options.

With black rim option, the rest should come together nicely... Mirrors and wing tips

to the OP... consider that it is very easy to have this done after market if you encounter issues with porsche exclusive. my sales guy even suggested this and admitted that you get financially raped by trying to have porsche do this.

+1

AC SATCO, had some accents vinyl wrapped and they seem to have turned out great. Probably at a fraction of the P exclusive price.

+2 I would avoid paying Porsche and do it after market - it's very easy to revert to all red if you don't like it.

To give you another idea, have you seen GT3 Bloodline article from the previous issue of Total 911? I think this is the best decal idea I've seen on a GR GT3.

Not a fan either, but I think it's the lesser of two evils...

Thanks for all the feedback guys- I think for the most part with GR it looks a little too overdone- I wish I had been approved for PTS, this was going to be part of it...

On the other hand, I think it might work with other colors, like white (which I will never do) or maybe Dark Blue metallic with black accents:

Black mirrors and wingtips here could look subtle and really nice, I think. But not sure about Dark Blue

Here's a picture of a DBM GT3 with PCCB - it's not too bad, but not great either.

I still struggle with the stock colors and might end up with Yellow due to too many GR and White cars already.

I think that the dark blue cars look better with black or silver wheels

Given you've already got it approved - have you had a look through the 4.0 images? Some interesting mirror/car color options there to consider.

Here is a good starting point, but there a lot more images out there:

I struggle with the stock colors too! The only one that I really like is GR, classic and timeless. The metallics all are just a bit off. If they looked like they do in the configurator, choice would be easy. Just look at how the dark blue metallic looks in pictures v. configurator.

Thanks for that. It's really hard to look at all the beautiful PTS colors I missed out on though.

Nope...get the right guy and it wont be an issue

Mexico Blue here in the future and that was my plan to wrap those parts in black.

with DBM ( a color I'm really considering).. the accents for mirror supports/wing tips... andpossibly the beautiful striping along edge of spoiler and front splitter like ac satco did, should be silver...along with the wheels.

I'm not sure about lights, although i believe those should remain black... but silver with blue looks fantastic.. I think I saw a 4.0 like this
