My car is supposed to be built in mid-October.
Has anyone heard if the factory has restated production of previously unfinished 2014’s or the brand new starts on the 2015?

mine's a 2015 and goes into body shop 9/12. I know of others going in on 9/7.
So the answer is "yes" they are back in business this week.

The factory should have restarted today. No factory tours were offered until today. This from the Porsche museum site:
"Due to our plant shutdown we don't offer any factory tours until September 1st, 2014."

Afaik, all cars now being built are MY2015.
