This white one was parked behind the sales showroom across the street from the factory. Judging by all the bugs on the front bumper, this car is being driven a fair amount.

"waiting to be shipped" OR waiting for NEW engines?
The "Customer Consultant Exclusive Tequipment" who I spoke with they day before said that these are 2014 models that have new engines -- NOT replacement engines. They were waiting to ship.
This blue one was parked in the work shop that is attached to the museum:
I saw that one when I was in the restoration area. It's one of the pre-production test cars that has been given to the museum for storage and possible future display.

Do either of you recall if the wheels were the standard or Silver wheels ?? Hard to tell from the picture...
They ended up walking me into a large parking lot behind the factory and there were probably no less than 100 brand new vehicles parked back there -- including GT3's in black, white, orange (!), green (!) and blue.

What I've noticed about that parking lot, over the last few days, is that no car seems to sit in there for very long -- they all get shipped the same day or next day after arriving in the lot. I saw the orange and green GT3's on Wednesday, they day of my delivery. I returned to the lot that next day, on Thursday. By then, the orange and green ones were gone -- I'm assuming they already shipped.
But I do have some photos of orange cars that I spied while in Zuffenhausen.... Here's an orange Targa, ready to be shipped:
