I have an AIM Smartycam, cannot get Windows to play the vids. Just a black screen. I had to download Quicktime to view files.

I've been able to take my 991.2 to Laguna and Buttonwillow (now twice so far).

I have not had much success with the Track Precision App lately. It won't export properly.

However, I did take this video on my GoPro this past Saturday with Speed District:

1:57 at Buttonwillow 13CW.

The 991.2 feels great. A bit more loose than my 991.1, but it has more grip. I'll post up some data soon.

Just got back from a nice Friday down at INDE Motorsports ranch.

Michelin Cup 2's were on their 12th heat cycle starting the day... and by lunch time, had unfortunately corded... so once we changed the configuration to the 'Fast Config'... I had to take it extremely easy on the 'left handers' as I put the corded tires on the passenger side of the car.

The TQ down low is simply amazing, frankly I love being able to keep the car up a gear even in the tighter stuff.

Ended up with a best time of 1.53 in Config 5 and a 1.41 in Config 4. New Tires would have been good for at least 2 seconds, and with the 20" Hoosiers almost here... I'll probably just wait. (pics of corded tires below)

My best MPH without a passenger was 136 on the front straight. The Brakes and Handling continue to impress. The high was 60 degrees, so was nice and cool, but unfortunately had a 30 mph headwind all day. Water temp never exceeded 190 and oil temp never went above 210!

I am running 1.8 Negative Camber square... now seeing all the cord on the outside 2" of all four tires, I believe the minimum (if tracking) should be about 2.2 square... and might like as much as 2.5 square (or at least in the front). Anyone know how much rear camber we can get out of the factory settings? I'd like to keep all parts factory, and just work with what we have available, but heard you may need rear toe links when going over 2' degrees in the rear?

INDE Motorsports LONG config 5, tires still good, taking passenger for ride: Porsche Track Precision APP now shows MPH instead of KPH!

INDE Motorsports FAST config 4, corded tires unfortunately: Helmet Cam

Best Regards,
Dave

Still working on getting a bit more coordinated with using the Porsche Track app, here's my fast lap solo in the 'long config' 3, 1.53, only about a second quicker than a 200 lb passenger. Testament to all the torque in this motor IMO.

1.53 solo lap via Helmet Cam

1.54 with Passenger via Porsche Precision Track App

Also included, are the 'tires' following these earlier sessions:
Had 12 heat sessions on them before the event started... started to peel away at about session 14.

Agreed, if I had steelies, but with PCCB, just too close, and dont want to mark up the calipers.

But definitely agree, for best time, 19's are optimal.

Dave

I had the same problem with Dunlops. My camber setting was 2.0 fronts and 2.0 rears. My front camber were maxed out unless i drop the car further which I didn’t want to do. My rear camber went to 2.5 negative maximum but then i asked the operators to dial it back to 2.0 as i was worried about the balance of the car. With the new sets of Cup2, i will push max camber rear so i will end up with negative 2.5 and the fronts will be 2.0 degrees but runnung 265s to maximize front grip.

Makes sense! I just dropped the car off and asked them to max out the front and then match the rear, less .2 of a degree. I'm hoping for 2.4 or more front, and then 2.2 rear... but we'll see!

Dave
