Depends partly on whether you need the proceeds from the sale to buy the new car. If you do, I'd be putting it on the market now so that I wouldn't get squeezed at the last minute. We're in the heart of driving season; might be a good time for that reason as well.

I agree with Mike, especially that the 997 prices are good right now. Of course no one knows what will happen in the future but if the 991 has no more problems and people realize what kind of car it is, I personally suspect the 997 prices will correct in a few months.

Sam--Ironically, all auto reviews and non-RL / Internet board types seem to praise the hell out of the 991 GT3 and vote with their pocketbooks by paying premiums over MSRP even during the Stop Sale! Seems like the primary group of folks who are most resistant to realizing what kind of car the new GT3 is...is RL folks!

The 997 GT3s (both .1 and .2s) have appreciated so much over the past year, now seems to be the time to sell.

to sell, NOW is the time
u don't need feeler, I can give u the price within 5000 accuracy
991 is a great car. drove one b4 stop sale. but to say a cat is good bc all he press say so is mistaken. plenty do cars that are touted to be good are mere boxes in wheels.

Smart move. I'd say the 997 GT3 prices now are at their peak and will certainly depreciate before year's end.

It is strange without really marketing it , I have already gotten some inquiries including my P car dealer.

I just picked up a white 997.1GT3 in March. They are the last of the breed. which is why i bought it.
The market is showing no signs of cooling off, but if it does, I will buy more. Lots more.

No matter how good the 991GT3 will be today, in 20 years the manual 997 GT3 will be the more valuable car.

I still would like a 991GT3 in addition however

I hope i'm not making a mistake in selling ..I do love this one.
I have had 24 p cars over the years and this is by far been the best one.

I agree now is the time to sell. To me I purchased 8 months ago. It was decision between analog vs digital car. I'm young kid who always wants a challenge. I grew up in 90s. Most of my peers love digital cars/items. Less manual doing - but more accurate n faster w digital. Few are like me who like to tinker. No more analog cars in the future. More digital. This is the end of the road for analog. I'm so happy / lucky I don't have to wait until my 40s 50s-60s to be able to afford this car when they will be rare. I truly love my 7gt3. I can save up for the next best thing in the digital world regarding cars. If it's anything like computers. Next electronic gt3 will make this look like a 200 MHz processor.
