Apparently the group letter is having a positive affect particularly in GB. Read on the Pistonheads site they are now getting calls from PCGB regarding compensation and time table for engine replacements. Prior to the letter, there was no indication from PCGB of any compensation.

Great news. They were getting the shaft and it is about time they step up and take care of our UK partners

And once again, it is a different compensation amount? Higher than the US. I'm still really confused how Porsche is establishing these numbers?

^^Yes--seems to be more than the amount for the US.

And now, it's been exceedingly difficult to get any call back from PCNA...

Well. We have a letter. May be we should send it to PCNA and request that they match what we feel we are entitled to. We should not be unfairly treated compared to other markets and advise we would be incredibly unhappy if they did not live up to our request. The US/Canada is a large market for them and they need to act appropriately

Compensation by Class:

opt#2: Return car w/o penalty + return of capital w/ interest on initial payment from date of receipt of funds to an agreed upon end date + first rights on MY 2015 allocation @ MY2014 price + $10K pik

Class 2- opt#1: Refuse delivery of car w/o penalty & return of all funds + interest on initial payment from date of receipt of funds to an agreed upon end date + $10k pik

The *largest* market, actually (for now...).

Yes. Its seems our (GT3 Action Group) efforts may have helped in the UK!

They have been offered 5.5K GBP "cash" for the first three months with 1.5K Gbp per month there after for Cat A customers. I believe they have also been given a small update on engine status and that engines are now ready to airfreight to market at the end of this week and that a timetable will be communicated to global dealers in the next few days....

P.S. Many of the UK and Europe online news agencies picked up the press releases on the GT3 Action group but very few of the USA (if any) did.

If the USA pick up the press release like the Telegraph etc did in UK and the media in Germany then I think you will find things accelerate although we are already hearing that PCNA will likely be communicating a Cat A package very soon and again likely inline with the UK and UAE/Europe packages on offer.

Fingers crossed!

That's a real step forward and thanks to the Group Action--kudos to you all and good to see that our UK brethren finally get something reasonable on the table.
