Great. My dealer went in and my order now shows cancelled. He assume Porsches is changing it.

Did they wipe out our old orders first? It just amend them?

Just got this from one of my dealer friends. Too bad my dealer didn't even know about it yet. I had to tell him to check his email! So he has to call first thing Monday morning to the regional and figure out how to access my new allocation.
email:
Please be aware that model year 2014 911 GT3 that had not entered production have been swapped to model year 2015 allocations.

Effected MY2014 GT3 will have been cancelled (VX99) in PVMS and a new MY2015 allocation in September or October has been provided.

For specific questions regarding effected vehicles, please contact your Regional Manager.

I know...my thoughts exactly. Oh well it will be what it will be. Would just love to drive it just once this year on warm asphalt!

Did you see the post on the stop sale thread. There is a letter that got released today

Our builds are September / October allocations. Which really means November / December delivery. This is just crazy.

When I put my Deposit down I was Number 11
The dealer assured me I would get one, as they are a very active dealer.
Just before the stop sale I was told I next for allocation.
So Now I'm waiting to see what's next .

Not selling my current 7.1 GT3 which I really love ,till I know whats what !

No, you gave me your slot at Rockville remember? I have to wait. No other option. In the meantime I'll just keep driving my Detroit rocket.
It's not boring with 565 HP. Keeps me entertained until the GT3 ever arrives.

Jeff, I would wait if you can. I just got off the phone with your friend at Rockville and he told me I have a September build. I would confirm with your dealer ASAP, since you were ahead of me by a week or 2, you might have an earlier Sept. build too. We were going to get our cars in May or June and now October most likely. Still plenty of hot pavement in October around here.

Just checked. They found the cancellation, no new build. Just great.

That's what MF told me this AM and I went apesh#t. He called me back later and told me he was able to check and confirm September build. I don't think he's lying because he followed that up in an email. Your people just have not checked deeply enough. You will see by Monday & I bet that you have it. Keep the faith! Hold the Line!

Apparently the dealers are responsible for re-entering the new orders after our old ones have been cancelled. I'm waiting for confirmation that this re-entering process doesn't change our spot in line.

I don't want to rely on the dealer to do it expeditiously.

Agree. I am in the same boat. The September allocation was put in there by PAG. As of right now the system does not allow them to go in and assign the build and assign comission number. But I am assuming it will at some point. I put a call into my case worker at PCNA to ask that question. No answer as of yet. I will update when I hear something.
