My new GT3...
Well I was originally going to wait for the RS and am #1 on the list at our local Dealer but after reading about the new GT3 just couldn't wait. I am still planning on getting a RS if and when it comes out but I am in love with this car. I had a 2010 RS which I grew to enjoy but sold it too quick as I was expecting the new car. Anyway, I pulled the trigger on one that a buddy of mine got in. It has more options than I would order, I just wanted a front lift and that's it, but not too over the top. I received the car Sat morning. I took it out for a spin and I have to say, I was only thinking of this car as a DE car but I can see myself driving it a lot more. I love the way it feels just driving it normally, very well balanced. Most of the cars I have are a lot faster but it doesn't matter, this car is awesome! As soon as Porsche gets this recall figured out, I will be taking it to the track. For now, I'm just going to get the entire car wrapped in clear bra, tinted and maybe a muffler by pass. It will be interesting to see how it compares to my blue Scud that I track now.
There was a Italian car fest yesterday and I took my Lambo and both Scuds. We took the GT3 as a chase car to pick my cars up, there were crowds around it! Pretty funny since there were lot's of Italians parked there..

Congrats on the new car. Mine is still a few months out. Would be very interested on your take of the GT3 vs the Scud when you get a chance to track the GT3.

As soon as my new house is completed, I will be able to keep most of my cars there so I know I will be driving it more.

Im really curious about your thoughts vs the Scud...as I'm thinking about buying one and wonder if even though it's not as outright fast or new, it could be more "special" and "fun" based on the sound and feel...
