Uh, this GT3 as far as Im concerned with all the tech is a great sporty road car...if you want a race car, get a damn racecar. I'm getting this car to look really cool on the road and throw thumbs up at everyone anyways. Ugh, I'm going to be sooooooo popular...

Same with the power seat option - AFAIC, it is worthless without a memory setting.
Don't get me wrong - I am all about the GT3 being a hard-core track car with a minimum of conveniences a la the 996, and I would not order either of the above - but both are useful in a paddock. Lighted personalized door sills are not.

I dunno guys, a rear view camera is actually pretty damn useful in a street car. After all, a GT3 is a street car.
If you think these technologies make your GT3 less hard core, you bought the wrong *****-extension.

There are aftermarket options that integrate with the nav screen. I, for one, will swallow my pride and get it installed.

In the U.S. at least fifty children are being backed over by vehicles EVERY week. Forty-eight (48) are treated in hospital emergency rooms and at least two (2) children are fatally injured every WEEK.
• The predominant age of victims is one year olds. (12€23 months)
• Over 60% of backing up incidents involved a larger size vehicle. (truck, van, SUV)
• Tragically, in over 70% of these incidents, a parent or close relative is behind the wheel.

I get it. Unfortunately I'm a firm believer that there are simply too many distractions in today's cars. Heavy reliance on electronics and electronic devices to "save us" results in people becoming less aware of their circumstances and surroundings when driving. In other words, if people would put down/turn off the phone/DVD/camera/satnav/fridge/whatever and pay attention to the job at hand, we'd be better off. Driving should NOT be part of multitasking.

Some situations are simply not avoidable, regardless of how "intelligent" the driver is. http://www.kidsandcars.org/back-overs.html In the U.S. at least fifty children are being backed over by vehicles EVERY week.
