Stig is driving a manual 997 not the 991 GT3. He is doing review of 991 and reports results for the old car? whats with that?

Richard picked his new 991 GT3 (white) up from a London dealer last week - someone on Pistonheads was there when he picked it up. If you read Dec 2013 Top Gear (UK edition) mag he claims its the best car Porsche has yet made, full stop and votes it his drivers car of the year. Hes always been a Porsche man, but he does seem very impressed with the GT3 (looks a bot of a midget inside it I must say LOL) , I guess his opinion must have some merit as he gets to drive most of the new metal etc and Id say hes the best driver out of the three on the show...

It's one of the if not the most popular Porsche colors. Though most seem to mistakenly think it's rare. And lately they're trendy. Kinda like Hammond...lol.

I've never heard anyone refer to white as a rare colour on GT3...

I traded my 08 turbo on an 11 GT3RS and decided that It was not an occasional DD even for me. I ended up selling it and buying an 07 turbo. I am hoping this one makes me want to sell my 991 Turbo. I like my cars on the sporting side. We will see. I would not do an RS again. I ordered my GT3 in red BTW.

carcommander. You will love the GT3 for its ability to cover both roles (DD and track/weekend car) much better than any earlier generation. Im not sure it will displace your 991T but Im 90% sure it will. On looks alone its drop dead next to a 991T, and the sound....! That said you have a 991TTS and the boost is pretty amazing, it plush and luxury. If you can keep both would be a great solution....

Does that just make the exhaust sound like the sport exhaust with valve always open?.. Or does it make it much louder? Does quality of sound change also?

I can keep them both and may. One thing I did like about the RS was the sound it made in sport mode. It sounded fantastic.

I have 4 cars that only I drive now. I guess one more wouldn't hurt.
