Rake and extended thigh support adjustments in particular are a big deal for me and the standard seat doesn't have them.
Hey Mike, no problem. You always have great feedback and I appreciate that. I have had the adaptive seat's on all my other 997''s. I set it for my comfort once and hardly changed it again. When I got the GT3 that came without the Adaptive seat it worked great for me and it was not a big deal to make the manual adjustment. so I decided againts it. It's nice to be able to adjust the seat specially the lower lumbar adjust. I am already at $156K so I have to stop at some point. Maybe I added now that you brought it up. My sales guy is going nuts. I have changed my order on him probably 15 times already. We shall see.

I know just what you mean; I think I changed my order 5 times in 10 days. The only thing keeping myself from second guessing some more is that the car is built! Good luck, sorry to stir the pot....

DRIFTING: Does the 18ways seats really help if you have spinal issue? Well, I have Scoliosis at my lower lumbar. Cheers!

No lumber adjustment on 4 way.

Rake adjusts with the seat being raised or lowered. It is not independent.

Had 4 way in my .2 3. Liked them very much. I actually prefer the manual adjustment fore and aft. You can quickly slide the seat all the way back when exiting.

4 way and likely heated seats, again. Even in warm climates, heated is nice on those cold winter mornings. Also a bit therapeutic for lower back issues.

Heat is a must for me.. I love driving on early mornings with windows down to heAr a engine... If you bundle up properly and turn seats on you can be all comfy with ice wind in your face.

For folks who don't have the sports bucket seat option in the US, a good way to change the look is to wrap it with CF vinyl. It will lessen the silver rear seat cover presence and make it disappear to enhance other parts of the interior which we pay dearly for.

Just an option.

@Dude -- how "hard" is the seat back shell of the adaptive sport seats? Is it a smooth, glossy surface? Or is it textured?

Agree with that. Wife's Audi has electric fore/aft and I have to wait to move the seat back before I can get in. Fortunately, I'll be the only one driving the GT3 and the seat will be full back all the time.

Heres a picture of it. I think adding the CF vinyl will make it a lot better. The surface is not exactly smooth but it should be fine for vinyl. Im going to do more research on this.

those are some complex curves to wrap 3m vinyl around no? are you thinking of just doing the back, or the bottom portion also?...

leather back seat option is looking attractive now...
