No date change in past 2 weeks but no confirmation of progress or ID# either.
Still scheduled for 1/24 delivery to dealer vs original date of 1/3.

Wow! I think you are the winner now! I think 12/27 is the earliest I've heard.

All the deliveries that I have seen to date are either late Dec., early Jan or late March( My del is 3/21). Have you guys seen a Feb delivery from anyone? Wonder if March deliveries will be pulled in to mid/late Feb otherwise no deliveries for Feb does not make sense.

Good point. Related to shipping schedule?

I just got word my car is complete and at Port awaiting shipment.
Still looks like Jan 24th ETA. Not sure why it takes 6-8 weeks to get through customs as well as the boat ride.
A BMW HP4 finished build in mid november and is slated to arrive at one of my stores early next week. Again, not sure why 4 wheels takes longer than 2 wheels to cross the sea; lol.

Yet again my production has been pushed back. Today I was advised it is now Jan.31 2014 with delivery middle of April. When this process started I had a Dec. 13 completion date with delivery in Feb.2014. Since then I have received three push back dates.

FWIW, I don't have a problem with the delay. My issue was getting the allocation. Once I had that, what will be will be.

Is there a way to check on a car's production/shipping status short of asking the dealer?

@Nick -- What was your completion date supposed to be prior to today's update? Any reason given? I think I'm on the same schedule as you. Originally mid December completion, then mid January completion. I'm not planning on calling my dealer again for an update until after the holidays...

Weird Nick. I have a feb build that the same dealer is telling me may be pulled forward. Oh well, as you say the car will arrive at some point regardless.

I'm not sure how much rhyme or reason there is to all of this schedule/production/delay business. I had the first allocation at my dealer and my order was placed first. My car had an earlier serial number than the guy with the second allocation. His and my car went into production the same day. Yet mine was subsequently delayed and his was completed. His has been on a boat for a week, mine is still in port (maybe it left yesterday, don't know yet). Point is, there seem to be things going on within Porsche that we may never understand, and no one at the factory is talking....

Yeah.

I'm no. 2 on the list, but mine will be the first delivered b/c the no. 1 opted for an exclusive option. He's getting the wheels sprayed white, I think. I'm afraid now I'll have fingerprints all over my car in the showroom, and possibly, I won't get to be the first person to fart in the drivers seat cause I know the dealer will call folks to come in and take a look at it.
