Have yet to scrape lip in 3.5 years with 3.8 RS. Brake ducts scrape at speed regardless of whether you have lift or not.

Would not buy a used GT3 with lift.

One thing to not bother specing a lift when buying a new GT3, but you are the only GT3 driver I've ever spoken to who said they wouldn't buy a used GT3 with a lift.

Why not? It's 10lbs in the front of the car. It's used so you're not having to pay for the cost of the options anyway. And as long as it works when you buy it, it will still work when you sell it, if you never use it.

And when you go to sell the car, you'll have much easier time selling it if it does have a lift.

So your post makes no sense.

That's not necessarily true. The way I understand it the compressor is similar to the ones in Mercedes and other cars with self leveling suspension. Each time you start the car the compressor will run and charge the system, the system will leak while driving and the compressor will charge the system again.

In older cars with self leveling suspension the compressor is often the failed component.

Agreed. Makes no sense. Just don't press the button if it's that offensive. Lift weighs about 2 gallons of gas; certainly not an amount that can be felt by the driver.

Lift is awesome, used it daily in the 997 and wouldn't order a gt3 without it
Can we discuss stitching, breakin period and rms now?

Don't want anything on the car that not's required. Some people need the lift, some don't.

A front lift is like god.. You think you don't need it until you have to negotiate a bump in the road (of life).. Then you start praying for assistance.

I scrape the lip on my Turbo all the time. I have no idea how people with GT3's don't.

My turbo is lowered on PSS10's, so it is not that low.
