Corvette drivers are meat eaters, but I don't think he ordered this T-Bone.

Is anyone else bothered by the redundant paddles behind the wheel of the manual used to turn rev match on and off? It seems very strange to leave them there, so accessible at every moment, to activate a function that is usually left in one position or the other.

One tester really liked it to have it at your finger tips to be able to switch on and of on the fly..
For example a corner where you are not rushed you enjoy doing it yourself, but in a rushed corner you may want some help. For example a beginner learning a new track you disables it more and more as he gets comfortable doing it himself.
Strange, but it makes sense and they already have all the hardware from the automatic there, so why not?

probably not this 6 speed slushbox, but some of the newest 8 and 9 speed slush boxes are getting pretty damn fast and accurate with all the luxury of a smooth take off. I think PDK is very close, but the PDK I drove in a Panamera a couple of years ago I would not accept in my luxury car.
I think AMG nailed it with a hybrid gearbox.

I'm guessing for most 991 GT3 drivers it will be a fairly redundant difference from some of the non torque converted auto's. No or little track, little spirited driving over legal limits, which is really necessary to get anything out of it.
