53 seconds. Not bad. In (a new then) 2010 the 997.2 GT3RS did 1.04 (its on youtube).
Id be very keen to know what APs time in the GT3 was given its the same course as 2010.
I searched high and low on the interweb to see if I could find it. Other than a reference to "under 1 min" I couldn't find anything definitive.
I found some interesting info and pictures (below). Apparently the 991 GT3 at Goodwood was APs personal car...

Macca, I'm fairly certain that it's one of the engineering reference cars and not AP's personal ride. If you note the license plate on the Goodwood car (BBEM3801) it's the same white car that was driven by Steve Suttcliffe in the Autocar video and by Pete Stout in the Chris Harris video (the CH car was BBEM3800). I doubt AP would be loaning out his personal car to be tested by journos......

You are probably right Mike. I read that on a Piston heads thread from a guy who talked with AP about PCCB brakes. Maybe he meant its his development mule. Here's another interesting snippet from the conversation....
If it made it under 1 minute on the Goodwood course that sure is fast especially for a non professional driver. But I cant find any definitive record yet (I guess the event has just finished so it may surface soon)....
People at the event posted that the engine sounded wicked at 9000rpm...

Has anyone found a bio of AP? Would be interesting to know more about the man behind the cars (driving background, engineering background, etc.).

Manifold. I have been looking on google as I too am interested. I was wondering how long he has been at Porsche. I thought I saw a photo of him as part of the 959 engineering team but realized that probably isnt correct as Im guessing he is only around 50. If you find anything could you please post it here...

In the ''Shut up and Drive'' interview it seems he's been with the company for quite a long time since he's reffering his participation with the GT program since 1999.

LOL @ Kosmo! Ha!
Macca, that fastcello post is really interesting:
- Looks like the RS will just a warmed over GT3 mainly for looks: widebody, bigger ricer wing and STICKERS! Just like the 997.1 RS over the GT3.
- RWS locks in place during lurid slides, it is not disabled when TC is off like others have guessed. This makes total sense.
- And most important, based on the PCCB comments, I'm definitely skipping them!
