Sam----I am in exact agreement with your situation and choices. Always a black guy, but this car just looks stunning in white with the gray and black accents. Perfect. Definitely going white!
Please post some pictures real life if you can with the LED's and stock color wheels. Thanks

Not many "real life" pictures of LED on white on the net as I suspect Bosch only now ramping up production units....have attached what I have on file including on Agate car....plenty of doctored press pictures on white car such as new brochure but not so much real life....

Don't know if anyone has noticed, but in the shot of the parking lot scene with the red GT3 in the background behind the Agate gray car, that's AP getting half-way out of the red car....

IMHO the leds don't look any better than standard lights. Until they show some technological advantage other than a different color temperature I'll stick with the standard lights and use the extra money on a front lift.

Yes it was from a prototype comparison shakedown test they were doing late 2012 between the old car and the new one. he wasnt looking very happy with the old manual car and was looking at the new 991 GT3 like he was being denied something special LOL!

Right you are Jimmy. Weve all been there and got the T shirt. I would have said "what a nice job to have" but I reckon of late hes earnt his salary! He will be ready for a holiday by the time the PDK 991 GT3RS breaks cover in a few weeks LOL!

There are many that are saying that at the factory. Even the old timers hold huge respect for him (which is hard to earn). There,s much talk he may become the future CEO. Not sure if he would want such a job tho! Mind you a 12 million Euro annual salary package will probably take care of any doubts - becomes like a professional boxing bout then - just hand on for the ride and every week you take home 100k Euro after tax...

I think what's more important about this pic is that it shows that AP isn't just sitting behind a desk somewhere passing on edicts from the VW brass. He and his team are out in the field driving and working with these cars to make sure the end product is what it's supposed to be.

I saw the Sapphire Blue Metallic in person at the dealer yesterday ('14 Cayman S w/ Titanium wheels). I believe the same color in one of the images posted above? I told my dealer to change from WHITE to SBM. On his configurator screen it showed an ETA of 12/20/2013; it also showed the closing window for option changes at 9/27/2013. Never know with these timeframes.
