Must see video! An engineer at sub-contractor 'Rockwell International' explains the innovative technology of this new transmission - reciprocating dingle arms, etc. Sadly, Andreas Preuninger rejected this newfangled design after he found it too simple and lightweight in comparison to the intricate & heftier PDK design he eventually picked for the new 991 gt3! Or it could have been the high cost. Oh, well!
