I just changed my order from Saphire Blue over to Red and decided on the PCCBs. On black gloss wheels as I think it will mate up better ,after tinted windows , than standard finish.
I also plan to order GT3 stripes for it through: http://www.kistudios.com/gt3.html
Looks like the Strip-004 kit is the only one listing fitment for the 991 but I'll check with them to see if they can custom-make for the 991 C4S body in other styles. Personally, my favorite package is the Stripe-009 in gloss black along with the 3.8L End Cap Decal on black face with red characters.

I went to see a sapphire blue 911 yesterday. It definitely doesn't have the pop I was looking for. It's actually kind of boring.
Right next to it was a guards red 911. Now that color popped. I changed my spec order

However, there was a Guards Red 991.C2S and it had some spice. Perfect for a car of the GT3's caliber. I just hope I don't over-analyze this build too much longer but I also know I have until Sept 27th to change my mind before my order freezes

I've always been partial to the classic Arena Red... Very complex in differing light.. Wondering how it would look on the 991 as PTS? Not at all like Amaranth.

I've seen amaranth red on a 991 cab and thought it was a nice color. It's a little more sophisticated and belongs on a more sophisticated car like a c2s or c4s cab. Totally a color I would get. But for some reason I feel like a gt3 calls for something basic like a white or red, or even blue and black.

I went to the local dealer wasting some time yesterday . . .saw saphire blue and rhodium silver in person . . .neither were as nice as I'd hoped. Aqua blue will probably be The color on this car.

I haven't seen sapphire or rhodium in person but I have seen aqua. Based on photos, I agree that aqua is far better than sapphire and its too bad it's now a PTS.
