Default JCR Valved vs Straight RacePipe Compared (see last post)

Finally got to install this on my '19 RS yesterday. No fitment issues and the tips lined up perfectly. Only got the revs up to 5.5k as I only have 300 miles on the car but initial comments are that this exhaust is loud -- not for the faint of heart. Love the sound of the blip on shifts above 4K. Deviation in sound between open and closed valve setting is hardly discernible. Definitely a keeper!

they pull off. sometimes they do that on their own. apply a little bit of water to them when slipping them back on.

Thanks for update....and look forward to hearing additional impressions (good and bad).

I still haven't installed mine as I'm in process of relocating to Atlanta and don't have time to install first.
So I'll live vicariously through others in the mean time.

I had valves on my IPE exhaust and found it useless and hardly discernible also. This time around I went with the full race pipes from JCR.

This is just the valved race pipe right? stock headers? waiting on my order from JCR to ship, I've got the inconel headers and the titanium race pipe getting ceramic coated. It's taking a while. I really wanted to go with the valved version but keep reading multiple people saying theres hardly a difference in the 2.

That is going to be mega loud ,mega loud would be an understatement I’m afraid.

Thats a shame, i wanted the exact setup but was hoping with the valves closed to be civil. I dont want an extremely loud setup.

it is civil under 3.5k rpm -- it gets exponentially loud when you go above 4k
