What's the saying for those that don't want to put miles on their cars.... It's like not having sex with your wife to save her for the next guy ??

And going to the expense of adding some mods - breast implants and a tramp stamp decal tattoo for the next guy/s or these days, girl/s.....

[QUOTE=TRAKCAR;15820213]Just hit 36,000. I should just park it on a street corner somewhere, take the plate off and leave the key in it.

Take my advice. Don't do that...

Last time I tried to abandon a Porsche on the street, somebody else abandoned another one next to it and I got fined for both...

Put 52k miles on my first 911 and saw zero depreciation. It still put a big smile on my face the last day, same as the first day!

Drive it like you stole it. Too many people worry too much about money and flippin cars. I have 130k on my 2013 BMW m5 but only 8900 on my 2015 gt3.

What they look like after at least 500 miles through mountain roads

Current mileage is now just over 7k, but it’s on the transport of its way back to Miami from the Smokies event.

Not sure of value, but the experiences have been priceless.

Awesome! I racked almost 2000 miles during the smokies alone. Drove down from pittsburgh.

well worth the depreciation cost lol. Although, spending a whole day removing dead bugs was not.

Already thinking about smokies 2020

Seems more like a Ferrari thread than Porsche with all this discussion about value, driving and not driving. These cars are fun but they aren't rare or appreciating assets.

Actually, the best "value" is actually driving these things. What's the most they can depreciate after 10k miles??? 10k or 15k off? Shoot, that's cheap.

....on the bright side, track insurance is less.

Only need to insure for replacement value.
