Hi guys,

I ordered touch up paint for my Guards red 991.2 GT3. The bottle label is in german and there is a numeric paint code and just to be certain it matches my car, I'd like to find the paint code of my guards red car and compare it to the touch up paint I ordered. However, I can't find it. I checked both door frames, under the hood, and under the engine cover. I found codes for every other thing related to my car, but not the paint.

Can someone please tell me where the paint code is located on the actual body of a 991.2 ?

The sticker with the paint code is in your Maintenance book. Dealer is supposed to put the sticker on page 2. I don't think there's a sticker actually on the car anywhere that lists the color code. It's not like the old days with the sticker on the hood.

Paint code for Guards Red is "G1"....has been that same code for many years. If you look in you 911 Maintenance booklet (part of your owners manual package, the dealer should have placed a black (with white letters) sticker in there, and you will see G1 listed on the 5th line down. P.S. I too have a 991.2 Guards Red car...
