Default Gt3rs ruins every car...

Just got back from picking up my m3 that was involved in a accident with a deer it’s been 3 weeks since driving a turbocharged car and driving the gt3rs daily I just realized how much I hate turbocharged cars, the throttle Response on the Porsche is the best I have ever felt and I ruined every other car!

did anyone watch motortrend review the 812 superfast jethro made a comment that really annoyed me he said “Ferrari transmission makes the pdk feel slow”
i never driving a Ferrari is that statement true? Hard to believe any dct being better the the pdk!

N/A definitely takes the cake over forced induction with similar power. Turbos can be fun too, especially when its small displacement and big boost. 30+ psi can be a seriously scary ride on import cars, especially AWD.

I'm afraid that's probably a true statement. Porsche claims shift times of under 100 milliseconds. My 2008 Ferrari Scuderia has shift times of 60 milliseconds. And that's old single clutch technology 11 years ago.

Why did his comment "annoy" you?

Every modern Ferrari I've driven certainly felt like it shifted faster than the equivalent P car

LOL When I spend a substantial amount of money on a Porsche, there's only one review that's critical to me. Whether or not others share my evaluation is irrelevant to me.

Go drive a 488 and make your own evaluation. Mine feels like it has a normally aspirated big block in it. I still liked the 3RS. It's just different.

i thought that that comment was just cause he wanted to get his point across in a cheap way by knocking on the pdk !

It's not a knock on the PDK, it's extremely high praise for the Ferrari.

it annoyed him because he felt threatened by the comment. if you drive both cars, you'll know which is better.

I too also have and M3( 2018 w/Competition package). Drove it all Winter and just love the car. Just 3 weeks ago took my .2 GT3 out of storage and I know exactly what you mean.

But - the M3 you can not even be compared to a GT3/RS. It is a four door, sort of light weight(~3500 lbs), rear wheel Daily Driver. Take it for what it is. Drawing a comparison to your RS not fair but it does make one really appreciate Porsche and the "GT" experience even more.

Current gen M3/M4 are not very fun to drive imo. Had 2 E92's and loved both of them. Current gen not so much.
