Default Is this the right time to trade a GT3.2?

Hi guys,

I'm really close to buy a GT3 .2 for a overall cost around 150K/euro.

Do you think that this is the right time to trade this car, or it will be better to wait 6/9months when 992 gt3 will be officially presented?

I've fear to buy a 150K car that in the next 6 months will drop to 130k with no esitations.

What do you think about that? Buy or waiting?

i think the 992 will drop more this for sure if the pictures are "real" however none of the both will keep the 150k nor the 140k.

No one knows what will happen in 2 years. If you keep on waiting you will never enjoy these cars.

These are depreciating toys- that's all they are.

Wait
Depreciation has not begun to hit the inflection point in the curve, i.e. prices are firm now but softening in the future - watch the GT4 model as an example. At 1.5 yrs after production stops they were a screaming deal with many to choose from.
Porsche has been cranking out a lot of 991.2 GT3s, the final GT3 production appears to be ending this month (excl RS) and the sum total numbers of GT3 may surprise many people.

that's an interest point of view. Wait as usual it's hard, when you find a deal with 150K with a 3.000 km Gt3.2 car (this is the lowest price in europe for a full optional GT3)

but if this mean that my car will have a value of 130K in the next 12 months, there is no doubt that it's better to wait another season, and buy it cheeper.

the question is: I will be able to find another deal as this (combination of color, Km and price) for a reasonable price drop in the next year?

exept you keep them 20y.

Alfonso, too many doubt dont drive you crazy. either you can spend for this car no matter 10k more or less or leave it.
For instance i have bought mine for 134k net with 650km, full accessiored (leather, 918 seats ect) exect the liftsystem in the front. If i would calculate with a 3y ownership and around 20k kilometers the car would have a value of around 110k€. does it helps ?

my net price is 125k, but i didn't have chance to take advantage from VAT.
yes, it make me more clear.
you're true that the depreciation isn't a problem, but at the moment that you invest the 90% of the bucks you collect YOY, it will be hard to listen to lose it
probably, I need to have double of my wallet to don't have any concern about it, probably is just the rational side that prevail now

sounds too expensive however it depends on additional factors (track used, leather or plastic al cruscotto, 918 seats ect ect....)
