3.5k miles in 15 mos for me and only issue was the exhaust valve tubing on left side coming undone. Happened twice, third time dealer added a second clamp and it hasn’t happened since

About 6,500 miles so far on my 991.2 GT3, around 3.500 of those are track miles. Only issue I had was rear wheel steering sensitivity to diagonal tie downs on the tires, https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...-trailers.html , corrected itself just by driving it then going in a circle. Have tie downs to the jack points now. Otherwise bulletproof.
Always use RennLine tie downs but finally able to trace causation... Parking brake engaged (accidentally / automatically in my case). If you tow w/ P-brake on be prepared for a full litany of failure messages (and sailor verbiage from you - LOL) upon arrival. It does go away w/ a quick drive though once it senses all is fine again.
5000 miles (~ 3k track) and all good otherwise.
Next up... remembering to keep all doors closed when lowering FAL, or attempting to remember as case has been. Not sure I'll ever get that engrained though - HA!
Good luck

Lichtgrun has some sort of funny noise when clutch is depressed at very low speeds in the driveway. Like a lever bouncing on something. Prob happens at all speeds but car is quiet enough to hear it only in parking maneuvers.

Burning Brakes
I've noticed (and there have been some reports) on a rear suspension metallic clunk when the suspension is jolted/unloaded (over any harsh bump or pothole); this may or may not be normal, but I'm getting my car looked at on the 20th just to make sure. There is a separate thread about the issue here: https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...-unloaded.html
Just out of curiosity, anyone else experience that noise?

Oh yea, another thing, I definitely think it's a normal quirk, but with each shift there's a squeak at the end of the movement. Cheap sounding. Learning to ignore it. More noticeable with the the gears on the top of the H-pattern (1/3/5). Turned car off and it makes it in every gear. Shifter feels perfectly normal. Will ignore it.

Likewise had failure notice issues w/ mine a couple times after trailering... . Scares / pisses snot out of you when you've just arrived at a track after a 5+ hour drive and happens on start up of unload.

My GT3T gear indicator will sometimes show 1st gear erroneously (when I have hamfistedly put it in 3rd by accident) after backing out of my garage or parking space.
Also the Porsche Weather Modulating System is clearly broken as it continues to snow outside

The BOSE stereo needed an increase in BASS, I found setting 8 to be adequate
Today we drove 800+ miles and found a door rattle that occurred at the same speed each time, quite close to 3800RPM, just below break-in max rev level.
Quite soon upon every pass we would look forward to the noise and chuckle as it appeared "There it is, all must be OK!"
Even the smallest things are fun in a GT3! - LOL
