So just got the call....GT3RS on its way!
So I had to come on and brag on here. I've been creeping the forum for 3 years, following allocation trends and rumours. To finally getting the call on Monday. Build slot for April delivery.
Only question I have is...I sent in my spec without PCCB...did I make a mistake there? I see that over 80% are ordering GT3RS with PCCB, but having driven other Porsches without PCCB I feel like I don't need the PCCB option. Especially at that price. Am I making a huge mistake? Here is my full spec for you all to critique and dissect.

Nice spec. You comfortable with Weissach?... as it now only comes with a painted hood, I find Weissach a pointless aesthetic add-on. I’d drop it and get PCCB’s instead. Just personal pref that’s all. Furthemore, to have Weissach without PCCB is a bit odd.

Only available with painted hood, whats the deal with that? Was not mentioned to me...I'll have to message my sales guy to confirm.

I agree with Haku.

I’d double check with your SA and get a firm confirmation from Porsche.

just so you know WP is just for show all that cf.
for my vanity I ordered with 808 and mag wheels, others have said personally just lose weight is cheaper. Or change OEM battery to lithium battery and have bigger weight savings compared to wp for a few hundred dollars.

if SM submits and it doesn’t get rejected or changed to 909 then you should be good. That is what happened to me first changed to 909 but then resubmitted later and it was approved about a week later for 808

I would rather have the pccb instead of WP. Also - the lift seems necessary at first, but for many of us - it isn't. Finally - I personally don't think headlights are a big deal - after owning several of these cars, I can honestly say I couldn't care less which headlights any previous car had.

Burning Brakes
As you asked I see no point in the WP if you can't get roll cage. 95% of us will not notice the weight difference. The steel brakes are superb and as you have black wheels you don't have to worry about brake dust so much.
Glad you got an allocation, at the end of the day spec the car as you want to. There are no options that are must have, except the FAL depending on where you live.

Correct, 808WP was indefinitely suspended and replaced by 909WP on 3RS back in August/September but seems it may have recently become available in limited quantity. Will be interesting to see if that is actually the case.
