Default Need Advice - Best Battery Tender

Now that winter is upon us on the east coast, what are RL's recommendations for the best battery tender for their 991 GT3 RS (and other cars that they store). I am overwhelmed with the options out there any don't want to make the wrong purchase. I would like to drive the car once in awhile during the winter so don't want something that is aimed more at long term storage but i drove the RS today after a few weeks of sitting due to travel and it definitely took a little longer to turn over then normal.

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated. I did search RL and found a lot of people using them but no recommended brands.

Pick up a CTEK, they make the charger for Porsche. I have the 7002, it has an AGM battery mode (which is the type of battery in the car)

Have the same Ctek and have used it on multiple cars for years. Hard to beat for $100.

Another thread mentioned that the cigarette doesn't stay "live" and auto shuts off after some period of time. Is this the case on 991.2 models?

Ctek does make a cigarette lighter adapter with lights on it. I was thinking to get that one so I can make sure actual power is being supplied.

One more vote for the 7002. With AGM battery, charge in snowflake mode...T

Got a BATTERY TENDER from costco, cost about $25 when it was on sale. Has been on the car for a month. So far so good.

^^ this is the one I have. Put it in snowflake mode and you are good to go. I connect directly to the + and the ground.
