991.2 GT3 ECU

Drifting
When you hit 40,000 miles the ECU opens up an additional 75 hp. It's just nobody has ever put that many miles on their GT car to find this out.

I agree, I've had mine since Nov 2017 with similar track miles and no change in power but it definitely has more than a .1 GT3 (friend has one)

I ran Sebring in January after the 1200 mile oil change. It was only my 2nd time to run Sebring and was my first time in the .2, so I don’t have a lot of laps to compare. I had a lot of fun and car ran great running consistent low 2:18’s. My best was 2:18.03.
I had one prior day of experience at Sebring in June when it was almost 100 degrees in my .1 GT3 and ran 2:19 as my best lap. It was brutally hot and humid.
I honestly could not tell any kind of obvious difference in power in the .2 following the 1200 mile service. I don’t have enough data laps in similar conditions pre and post 1200 mile service to honestly say if there’s any kind of difference.
However it is an amazing car and super fun. The likely reason that my times were off at Rd Atlanta when I started the thread was that I just wasn’t driving very well and conditions were different. However I was just interested if any one else had heard anything about the ECU thing that my shop told me.
Looking forward to a lot of fun at Barber this weekend with Tracks Unlimited
Thanks!

On the data from the AIM at Road Atlanta. Did any of your friends have data running also? If so you can email me the files from one of the sessions and I can take a look at the data to see if there is a difference in acceleration
