Sound track is important, but not the only quality an engine should be judged. Weight, oiling at extreme G, power and torque per liter, redline, fuel efficiency, reliability/durability are all important metrics.

Drive a CGT and a new 3RS through a a tunnel at WOT and then make the call. I have a '19 GT3RS. Great car, love the sound of the flat 6 in sport mode. You can buy groceries in that car. Traffic jam, no problem.
But for pure visceral pleasure, give me the stick, V10, and sound track of a CGT.
