JCR // (NEW PRODUCT) Titanium Silenced & Non-Silenced Centre Bypass
Hi All,
I'd like to introduce to the Rennlist members the latest JCR Porsche release, the Silenced and Non Silenced versions of our Titanium Centre Bypass.
First of all, our silenced version:
JCR Titanium Silenced Centre Bypass
JCR Titanium Silenced Centre Bypass
Although we're all familiar with the concept of a centre muffler bypass, we have gone in a different direction with the development of our products.
Firstly and most notably the material choice, we feel that Titanium (KS TI-1.2 ASNEX) is the perfect material for the job. The idea of removing a Titanium centre silencer and replacing with Stainless Steel seems some what counter productive.
We also wanted to provide an alternative for those who are looking to retain the stock like exhaust volume levels with valves closed, whilst still benefitting from the 'straight pipe' effect with valves open. This is where our 'Silenced' version of our centre bypass comes in, utilising two small titanium silencers this means the delta in exhaust volume between open and closed valve position is noticeably larger than the OEM centre silencer &/or centre bypasses without this design feature. Another plus for this design is once combined with our modular, valved side silencer deletes, this creates a logical upgrade path and means valve function between 'loud' & 'quiet' modes are retained.

Tuning our balance pipe to create and accentuate the natural 'screamy' tones of the flat 6 was also a big consideration, very subtle however we feel this key to unlocking the best potential sound from the 991 GT high revving flat 6.
Tuned balance pipe
We also retain the factory style outlet at the flange, this ensures the exhaust gasses exit the centre cleanly, its a small yet important detail which many neglect to replicate and has quite a distinctive effect on the sound & boom.
Exhaust tip flange
We also offer a non silenced version of our titanium bypass:
JCR Titanium Centre bypass
JCR Titanium Centre bypass
JCR Titanium Centre bypass & JCR Titanium Bolt On Exhaust Tips
Both of our bypasses retain the factory exhaust tip bolt pattern and are therefore compatible with OEM tips & all aftermarket, including our own Titanium Tips. We also provide each Titanium bypass with our bespoke Titanium fitting kit available in a range of anodised finishes. Every little helps!
Titanium fitting kit - Purple anodised
Silenced and Non-Silenced Bypasses are available to order now and we expect to ship in the following two weeks. Parts can be ordered below:

If you have any specific questions please feel free to ask. Videos to follow.

If it were made from cheap T304 stainless steel then you may have a point however our bypass is constructed from a material which costs
Our Titanium Non-Silenced Centre Bypass comes in at $1800 USD, combined with our Titanium Tips the price is €2600 USD
The very popular Sharkwerks T304 Bypass without tips is $1500 USD, our price is right around 20% more for a ‘comparable’ product.
The GRP bypass which includes tips (albeit integral) comes in at $2300 USD, again T304. Our ‘comparable’ product is just over 10% more expensive.
Now, when you consider the price of the base material, T304 vs KS TI-1.2 ASNEX and also add the significant difference in man hours required for construction (all here in the UK) then I’m sure you’ll come to the conclusion that our prices are extremely competitive for what we feel is a superior product.

Our Titanium Silenced Centre Bypass complete with our Titanium Bolt-On Tips comes to 3.35kg (7.3lbs) - The factory set up complete is around 11.4kg (25.2lbs) and therefore we save 8.1kg (17.8lbs)
Our Titanium (non silenced) Centre Bypass complete with our Titanium Bolt-On Tips is a further 1.2kg (2.8lbs) lighter than our silenced version at 2.1kg (4.6lbs) and in order saving an impressive total of 9.3kg (20.5lbs) over the factory equivalent parts
If thats not enough then obviously adding our Titanium Side Silencer Bypasses will shave another good chunk of weight off the rear end. Needless to say, our Titanium exhaust line is the lightest on the market with the added benefit of being modular, unlike other light weight options.
Once heat cycled it looks pretty killer too!

Some questions:
- Warranty for the center bypasses?
- So what exactly is the difference between the silenced and non-silenced center bypasses? Both can use the OEM sport exhaust toggle button for "loud vs. quiet" modes, or is that just the silenced one, and non-silenced is valves open all the time?
Thanks

Titanium construction, V-Band valve section to allow customers to change to non valved if they so wish and vice versa without having to purchase a complete new assembly.
Parts coming very soon, I’ll present a full thread for the valved and non valved versions on RL as soon as we’re ready to go.
Warranty as so far as if there was a failure which was of no fault of the customer then of course we would take care of this. This goes for any of our products, however we really never envisage any issues.
The silenced centre bypass features small silencers in the valve closed portion of the centre meaning that when valves are closed the exhaust volume is cut down more than the non silenced version. The non silenced has no silencers at all.
Both bypasses retain valve function, assuming that you’re running OEM side silencers or side silencer bypasses with valves
