+1 on the driving.
Exciting results for new RS drovers :-)

The .2 will be quicker but even then, would like to see video...?
(I’m sure it’s possible on Cup R, but sceptical on Cup2)
I've seen several .2 GT3 RS do 2.36 laps last Sunday. Not sure about their tires. Here is timing by beacons. Green group is 520HP (so all GT3 cars) or below and Blue is 650HP or above (so all GT2 cars): http://ris-timing.be/gran-tourismo-27-septembre-2018/
The times are impressive also because it was hot (28C at the peak) and the traffic was pretty bad - my first unimpeded lap was at 3pm, and my fastest lap was at 5:30pm :-)

One of the green ones did a 2:36.3. Will post more details in the .1 RS .2 RS comparison thread when I find time.
Drove both cars during the event and they are worlds apart in terms of track use. I'd say the.2 is a 2:35 car at Spa. With a competent driver, clean lap in good conditions and fresh tires.
Excellent driving! I do not have the confidence to be that committed at Spa. Were you a part of that nice Polish family with white RS cars? I wanted to stop by to chat (part Polish myself) but ended up running around dealing with my car issues instead (one engine and two sets of tires gave up on me on my rental cars).

Very good driving, and very fast Dunlop SportsMaxx?

It's pretty hard to make a GT2RS go as quickly...even with Manthey's on car and development driver, they could only do low 2.35 with 2RS.
2.31 was done with CupR.

Out of interest - what time have you lapped in a 991.1RS?

^^ Seemed like Greenhorn expected to run 2:40-2:39 that day in their .1RS.

Your comments about how much more difficult it is to wring the extra performance from the GT2RS due to less balance lets say, is being proven here.
The GT2RS seems so smooth and capable on roads and track, but when you want to be a track bully in a GT2RS, you better really know what you are doing and hence it keeps its reputation alive.

Truly a new challenge for the very far advanced

So I got a letter in the mail from Germany that looks like I was busted for speeding. I think the fine is 38 euro, but everything is in German and I have no clue how I would even pay this fine. Any advice?

Wow, Porsche never sent me any and I know I was flashed a few times.
I wouldn’t worry about them, probably too complicated to pay from the US, unless they take Amex.

But Email me a copy and I’ll take care of it.

I got one too ... there should be a IBAN # somwhere in the letter (on mine it was on the foot of the 1st page) I simply created a foreign transfer and paid it.

both the customs people and the state gov't usually have either a SWIFT/BIC or IBAN # to enable foreign payment; I dont think you want to attempt entry into Germany with outstanding fines present on your record!

You typically get what looks like a bill sent to you after dropping the car off. It is a receipt for the taxes paid I think? Cant remember the specifics, but before you pay anything run it by Jamie at Porsche ED Department, it may be the expected routine receipt.

Hahaha! Waiting for mine to arrive. I'm sure I missed some speed zones in Switzerland. 20 years ago they tracked me down relentlessly for speeding in Geneva. Best advice, pay- they don't forget.
